A Meditation Workshop

OSHO BARDO INTENSIVE
“The human body is nothing more than a light bulb. Life is electricity, the energy
which keeps the physical body alive, glowing with vitality.
“If you really want to understand the true meaning of life and death then you must,
by your own effort, learn the art of withdrawing your life force from the exterior body
and focusing it on your inner self. Only then will you be able to grasp the true
meaning, the real significance of life and death.”
~ Osho The Long, the Short and the All

Facing the reality of our dying is something most of us avoid and so we are completely unprepared for it.
Dying becomes something to be frightened of, rather than the pinnacle of our life, as Osho sees it.
In this course we will bring awareness to some of the issues death might bring up for us, and, at the same time, gain an experiential understanding of how meditation can help us move into it with relaxation, even joy and gratitude.
When we realise through meditation that we are not the sum total of our physical self, not our thoughts or feelings, this affects not only how we approach dying but affects the quality of our day-to-day living as well.
At home in our outer and inner realities, we are free. As Osho reminds us, then we can – and should! – celebrate both our living and our dying.
This course is recommended for both seasoned meditators and those new to the world of meditation.
As well as listening to some selected talks from Osho and creating a thread of celebrative dance throughout, we will experiment with a variety of meditative methods and particular devices.
